  • History of TRUE Alexandria:   Town of the major library of occidental civilisation / 700 000 papyri / ancient Egypt / destroyed by war & fire. Re-opened 2002 (yes!).
  • The old Alexandria library was based an the freeware concept:   During a period, ships were only allowed to pass under the condition of a free copy of all text papyri found on the ship, as far as the text was still lacking in the Alexandria library.
